Churchill National Honor Society

My name is Kevin Grezlik, and I am the Co-President of the Churchill High School National Honor Society in Livonia, Michigan, as well as a currently attending senior. If you are an inducted member of CHS NHS, an invited member, or the parent of an inducted or invited member, I welcome you to the website.

 

Here at CHS NHS, our goal is simple, but we do a lot to accomplish it; create a better, happier, and healthier environment at Churchill High School, as well as in the Livonia community and those surrounding it.

 

As members, we will commit ourselves to community services, fundraisers, help around the school, and help during community events such as Read Across America and Relay for Life. We also host a Leadership Conference on an annual basis to promote our cause to benefit other students and parents. Members of the CHS NHS commit themselves to Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service, with each having a 3.5 GPA or higher, and are invited during their sophomore year of high school. If inducted, they may remain members up until their graduation. As a member, in exchange for a set number of hours each semester of community service and fundraisers sponsored by the Churchill Student Council and local Livonia businesses, you will be entitled to exclusive NHS bonding events, including food outings, games, movies, etc. You will also receive recognition as part of the National Honor Society branched across the nation, and recognized by thousands of colleges and universities.

 

By becoming a member of CHS NHS, you will be integrated into an exclusive school society with the moral benefits of helping the community and fellow students across CHS, while also obtaining the transcript benefits of a well-known leadership organization, and the pleasure benefits of special bonding events.
